This project is my personal take on a winning entry for C41Magazine, where the brief challenged participants to visually interpret the concept of "Good use, good choice". The editorial The Weight of The Wings showcases a humanized bird, represented through a model dressed in feathered garments, emerging with anger and energy from a plastic trap. With a dark yet ethereal quality, the imagery highlights the beauty and the struggle of a living being, symbolizing the resilience and fragility of nature. As the raven navigates shadows and light, it serves as a symbolic reminder of nature’s endurance and the urgent call to preserve it.
