About me
My name is Giorgio Gracis, a Graphic Designer and Junior Art Director born in Milan, Italy. My creative background is rooted in a deep curiosity for visual culture, spanning art, photography, music, and fashion. My journey began through photography, where I was first introduced to digital tools such as Photoshop, opening up new ways of constructing images and visual narratives. After completing an artistic high school program, I pursued a degree in Graphic Design and Art Direction at NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) in Milan, where I developed a strong conceptual and visual foundation while working on both individual and collaborative projects within the creative industry. In 2022, I expanded my practice into 3D design, exploring spatial thinking and immersive visuals as tools for storytelling and communication. This multidisciplinary approach has shaped my way of thinking, allowing me to move fluidly between concept, image, and execution. Over time, my focus naturally shifted toward fashion and image-making. Growing up in Milan—one of the world’s fashion capitals—deeply influenced my sensitivity to fashion as a cultural and visual language, leading me to pursue a Master’s degree in Fashion Art Direction at Polimoda, Florence, where I refined my editorial approach and understanding of fashion communication. Following this experience, I moved to Paris, where I worked as an Art Director intern, gaining first-hand exposure to an international, fast-paced creative environment and further developing my approach to fashion imagery and visual storytelling. Today, I am based in Milan, working as a Junior Art Director at an international creative agency, within a team dedicated to fashion and luxury clients. In this role, I contribute to the development of visual concepts, campaigns, and image-driven narratives, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to craft contemporary and culturally relevant brand expressions. Driven by a strong interest in the dialogue between fashion, art, and visual culture, I aim to create work that balances conceptual depth with refined aesthetics.
